We have an interesting research talking to people that are either seriously considering moving abroad to a non-english speaking European country or have already moved.
We are conducting research for the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO). The FCDO is a branch of the government that supports British nationals across the globe including through British Consular Services abroad. The aim of the research is to explore people’s views on some online guides that the FCDO produces to help British nationals with a range of practical matters when they move overseas.
British nationals, who before moving abroad are / were ordinarily resident in UK, and who:
- Have firm plans to move abroad in future, to a non-English speaking country in Europe (no need to have used a Living In guide)
- Have already moved abroad, to a non-English speaking country in Europe, in the past 12 months (no need to have used a Living In guide)
- Have already moved abroad, to a non-English speaking country in Europe, longer than 12 months ago, and have used a Living In guide
